Winter Self-Care

Winter self care loving rituals to help nourish my skin, hair and body.

I’ll usually do one of these once a week, although I’m starting to increase my body brushing as I feel my lymphatic system needs a little help in the cooler weather.

Facial cupping helps bring fresh oxygen and blood to the surface of the skin, plumping it, reducing lines, moving any sluggish lymph and keeps the skin looking healthy. Forehead lines come and go, they present themselves when we worry lots and cupping helps to naturally plump and reduce the deepness of these lines.

Hair oil is so nourishing to both the hair follicle and scalp and is an ancient tradition for healthy strong locks and dandruff free hair. I’m creating a gorgeous natural hair oil with rosemary essential oil as a key ingredient to stimulate hair growth.

Body brushing is the easiest way to move lymphatic fluid to the lymph nodes to help remove toxin buildup and keep us healthy. Look for a natural soft bristle brush that doesn’t damage or scratch the skin. It’s a wonderful exfoliator and can also help reduce stagnant cellulite.

Which one will you try this winter?
