Berry Oatmeal

INGREDIENTS

• 50g (½ cup) Organic Oats or Oatmeal

• 125g (½ cup) Filtered Water

• 125g (½ cup) Almond Milk

• 5g (1 tsp) Maple Syrup

• ¼ tsp Cinnamon Powder

• 120g (1 cup) frozen Organic Blueberries

• ½ tsp Chia Seeds

• Nut Butter

• Fresh Fruit

DIRECTIONS

Traditional
If using oats, blitz them for 1-2 seconds in a food processor to quickly create oatmeal. Add the oats and water to a saucepan and cook on a low heat for 2 MIN until the mixture has thickened. Add the almond milk, maple syrup and cinnamon and stir for 5 MIN or until creamy.

Remove from the heat and pour into a serving bowl and set aside.

Add your frozen berries to a clean saucepan and cook over a medium - low heat for 5 MIN or until heated through.

Serve the warmed berry mixture over the cooked oats. Sprinkle with cinnamon powder and drizzle with maple syrup. Add fresh fruit if desired.

NOTES

This is best eaten straight away.

Frozen raspberries also work in replacement of the frozen blueberries.
