Almond Milk

INGREDIENTS
• 150g (1 cup) Almonds
• 740g (3 cups) Filtered Water
• ½ tsp Organic Vanilla Bean Paste
• 18g (1 pitted) fresh Medjool Date
• Pinch of fine Sea Salt
DIRECTIONS
1. Place the almonds into a bowl and cover with water. Allow this to sit overnight.
2. Drain off the excess liquid.
Traditional
Using a blender, add the drained nuts, water, vanilla bean paste, date and salt. Blend together for 1 MIN.
Thermomix
Add the drained nuts, water, vanilla bean paste, date and salt in the TM bowl. Blend together for 1 MIN / SP 10.

Strain the liquid through a nut milk bag into a large jug, to separate the milk from the fine nuts. Pour the strained nut milk into a large glass milk bottle.
NOTES
Store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
